UPDATE 3: Google Alerts turns back on RSS support
Yikes this is much more of a hit than losing Google Reader since Feedly has stepped up to effectively fill the void.
Google Reader is no longer available. To continue receiving Google Alerts, go to http://www.google.com/alerts/manage and change your alerts to email delivery.
Crap didn’t see that coming.
UPDATE:
Talkwalker Alerts has rss feeds. Looks pretty good at first glance. Free < 100 alerts.
UPDATE 2:
"Google Alerts RSS delivery is temporarily not available" message is appearing on the Google Alerts page... haven't seen any coverage of this, maybe they are going to bring it back?
